Ambassadors serve as a liaison between the Chamber and its members by making contact calls and surveying the membership to ensure the Chamber is meeting its members' needs. The Small Business Committee is the primary support of the Small Business Department. The committee strives to create a forum that will generate ideas for reasonably priced programs and services that educate, support, recognize and enhance the small business community in Delaware County.
The Government Affairs Council develops positions on policy issues that affect businesses in Delaware County. The Council tracks the votes of the legislature on issues they examine in order to hold our political leaders accountable to the business community.
The Delaware County Young Professionals is Delaware County’s newest group for ambitious early-stage professionals looking for informal networking. This group facilitates connections among Delaware County’s young professional community. If you are seeking for a “can do” community, looking to meet new people, and want to expand you list of business contacts then this committee is for you! The Ribbon Cutting Committee supports new business, business expansion, and growth or business anniversaries. Members do not meet regularly but actively seek opportunities to acknowledge fellow members for Ribbon Cuttings and the regularly participate in Ribbon Cutting celebration events. The Book Club Committee meets quarterly to discuss a business book which is read in between meetings. Members support each other in business growth and find ways to apply what they learn from the book to their business.
