The Foundation of the Delaware County Chamber, a 501 (c) 3 corporation, was established in 2003 with the generous assistance of corporate members to facilitate economic growth in Delaware County and to advance education and leadership development programs within the community; today that is still our mission. The Foundation has enriched the lives of numerous individuals all over the County through its educational endeavors.
 
In order to continue to help our future workforce and fulfill our mission, the Foundation will support Delco Hi-Q, Leadership Delaware County, Career and Technical Education, Job Readiness, Career Awareness, and Small Business Educational Seminars.
 
Recently, The Foundation was approved as a scholarship organization under the Educational Improvement Tax Credit program from July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008. Businesses that make charitable contributions to The Foundation will be offered a tax credit. All contributions made to The Foundation scholarship program will be used to provide educational opportunities to under-privileged children who wish to attend private or parochial elementary or secondary schools in Delaware County.
