The wireless industry has changed drastically since the 1980’s and so has Hooman Mobasser’s evergrowing cell phone museum, which includes the very first mobile phone in all its bulky glory. Mr. Mobasser’s mini-museum can be found at Car-Tel Communications’ Broomall location, where he oversees all retail activities as Store Manager. Car- Tel Communications is an Authorized Retailer of AT&T. Not only does Mr. Mobasser run the retail store, but he also is one of the company’s Corporate Account Managers. He has been in customer service since 1986, which is just one year short of Car-Tel Communications’ entry into the wireless industry. After running his own business, he joined the Car-Tel Communications team in 2001 and has also been an active member of the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce for three years.

The Broomall sales team takes pride in working for Car-Tel Communications mainly because of its extended services—personal representative, loaner phones, an in-house technician, business solutions and more—which keep both business and consumer clientele loyal and happy.Mr.Mobasser and his staff work hard to bring outstanding customer service to everyonewho enters their store. “The key is to listen to the customer in order to determine their needs,” he says. Mr. Mobasser has become a great asset to the company, and his store received the Store of the Month award inDecember 2007. He is very knowledgeable about the latest wireless trends and devices and ensures satisfaction for every customer that enters his store. “We have to do the bestwe can to provide either one handset to an individual or two hundred handsets to a company or a government entity,” Mr. Mobasser says, “no matter how long you’ve been in the business, you still learn something new everyday.”
