Economic Development Support for Delaware County & Delco Strong Support

The Delaware County Commerce Center is a centralized location for all economic development in Delaware County. This award-winning agency operates as an umbrella organization for the administration of various economic development boards and authorities, such as: Delaware County Economic Development Oversight Board, Delaware County Industrial Development Authority and the Delaware County Redevelopment Authority.

​The mission of Delco SHRM is to educate professionals on the principles, methods, policies and ethics of Human Resource Management; provide networking opportunities; and promote charitable/community involvement throughout the Delaware County Area.

Free Business Mentoring!
​Whether you’re starting, growing, sustaining, or in transition, SCORE volunteers will be with you at every stage. Here in Chester and Delaware County, our chapter has 100 Volunteers.  They are Mentors, Subject Matter Experts, and Workshop Presenters. SCORE has been operating in the two counties for over 40 years serving 3,000+ clients.  Mentoring sessions are scheduled by appointment. You can connect with your mentor by video conferencing, phone, email or in-person, depending on personal preference and availability. Some local county meeting locations are open for in-person mentoring.

​Funded Through the SBA!
The Widener University SBDC one of 18 small business development centers in Pennsylvania, and is a public/private partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, and the 18 colleges and universities across the commonwealth that host the centers.
Since opening in 2007, Widener SBDC has provided one-on-one consulting services and educational programs and seminars to small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs in southeastern Pennsylvania.
