Through career fairs, classroom presentations, industry panels, and worksite tours, students gain insight into local industries and the skills needed to succeed. The Leadership Delaware County Committee serves as the advisory and ambassador group behind the Chamber’s premier nine-month leadership development program. Committee members help guide curriculum, recommend speakers and host organizations, strengthen partnerships, and champion the program throughout the county. Youth Leadership Academy Committee:
The Youth Leadership Academy Committee supports the Chamber Foundation’s leadership program for Delaware County high school sophomores, helping cultivate the next generation of community and workforce leaders. The program connects 10th-grade students with business, nonprofit, government, and academic leaders through interactive sessions focused on ethics, teamwork, decision-making, and leading through change. Committee members advise on program content and speakers, strengthen school and community partnerships, and promote student nominations.
