August and the beginning of September were a quiet time in Harrisburg, which especially happens in “election years.” As many capitol staffers are still working at least part of the time from home, and legislators focus more on knocking on doors than working on bills, precious little of obvious activity took place this past month. All of that has changed as they returned for the final few weeks of the two-year legislative session begin. Items up for consideration include changes to Corporate Income Tax to allow for remote workers and updates to the Personal Income Tax for S Corporations. Please attend our next Government Affairs Committee meeting on Friday October 7th at 8am to learn more.
