PA House Names Committee Chairs

While the PA House of Representatives struggles through which party is in the majority, the PA Senate has named Committee Chairs an important step for any legislative actions. 

• Senator Anthony Williams (D) has been appointed as Minority Chair to Senate Community, Economic & Recreational Development and will serve as a member on Joint State Government Commission, Banking and Insurance, Education, and State Government Committees
• Senator Tim Kearney (D) has been named as Minority Chair for Senate Local Government and Vice Chair for Senate Appropriations Committees. He will also serve on Local Government Commission, Education, and Transportation Committees
• Senator John Kane (D) will serve as Minority Chair for the Senate Labor and Industry Committee and on the Communications and Technology, Transportation and Veterans Affairs & Emergency Preparedness Committees
• Senator Amanda Cappelletti (D) was named as Minority Chair of Senate State Government and will serve as a member on Environmental Resources and Energy, Health and Human Services, Judiciary and the Communications and Technology Committees.
